| GLOBAL VIRTUAL TOUR
Founded in 1981, Genzyme has become a global leader as an innovator in products and research focused on rare disorders and disease. To date, they have helped patients in over 100 countries. As one of the top employers in the field of science, Genyme asked us to create a microsite that allowed employees to feel more connected with their colleagues spanning the globe. They also wanted employees to gain a broader understanding of the company’s global capabilities. Our concept of an online Global Virtual Tour provided a forum for Genzyme employees, as well as external audiences, to get a glimpse inside company facilities. The site quickly grew from 8 to 13 locations and has been incorporated into lobby kiosks offering visitors easy access. | GENZYME CENTER VIRTUAL TOUR Standing as a symbol of the company’s core values, Genzyme’s global headquarters in Cambridge, MA is regarded as one of the most environmentally responsible buildings in the world. To showcase their commitment and also offer greater accessibility for those interested in tours, Genzyme asked us to create another online virtual tour that could stand alone separate from the corporate site. We built upon the success of the global virtual tour project and created a design that was complimentary in function and style. The site features a scrolling bar of imagery with captions explaining details about the facility.
