Niche Marketing Within Your Website

Niche Marketing Within Your Website

What kind of first impression does your biotech company’s website create?

Here are my thoughts and a summary from Page One Web Solutions, who wrote an insightful article about niche marketing that is very applicable to biotech brands:

  • The niche market is your specific product that you are focusing on; therefore you need to remember that it defines the features aimed at satisfying specific needs as well as price range, demographics and psychographics that it is intentionally trying to impact.
  • When someone visits your biotech company’s website, they should be able to quickly identify with it and realize that they have come to the right place. Your website should be a niche focused website that relates to your target audience immediately. You should have a very clean and organized site that conveys your niche and your niche only.
  • Take a look at your website and see if it looks out-dated or unprofessional. An unprofessional web design will effect how your audience views you. Prospective clients, investors, or members of the media will leave your site immediately if they feel it’s not focused and unrelated to your target audience.
  • All industries have elements of niche marketing within them, especially biotech companies. It’s important to know the needs of your market and have an awareness of the problems as well. This will lead to you to discovering the solution along the way as long as you continue to watch your market closely.
  • Advertising and becoming proficient in blogging can help attract specific customers or clients to your site. Your biotech company’s entire knowledge base can be used to your advantage in driving that target audience to your niche.
