Agents of Change is dedicated to helping you leverage the three most important channels in digital marketing today: search, social & mobile. Here are our top takeaways from the presenters by seminar.

How to Be Remarkable – @RoderickRussell
• To be successful in business you have to get personal. You have to mean something to someone.
• All success is best built on failure.

Building a Digital Presence – @ChrisBrogan
• People may forget your name but they will always remember how you made them feel. How do you connect with people in a way that makes them feel good?
• Own your choices. Be brave. From this all other things happen.
• Work like you are on vacation. Do your heavy lifting in the morning.
• The opposite of bravery is settling.

Creating Digital Nectar – @TheRichBrooks
• You cannot beat the internet on volume, but you can on quality, clarity and perspective.
• First impressions matter. (Think of the tiffany box, the gift is perceived to be better before it’s even opened.)
• Half of the world’s traffic is coming from mobile. Is your site mobile-friendly?

YouTube – @JamesWedmore
• YouTube is the 2nd largest search engine today.
• The point it to create an unstoppable brand. YouTube makes people stop for a few minutes, not just a few seconds.
• You have to inject a strategy that engages both left and right brain audiences.
• Give your audience something to talk about, what’s the big idea? What’s your money shot? Make it memorable.

Content Marketing – @ButchStearns
• Medium isn’t as important in 2013, we are all publishers and we all have an audience. It’s about creating valuable content.
• ABC’s of Storytelling: know audience, strive to be genuine and make them care.
• “Nothing is as important as winning, but winning today.” – Tom Brady

Mobile Marketing – @GjHickman
• In 2015 more people will access the internet via mobile than any other wired device.
• Today, more people would rather lose their wallet than their cell phone.
• Understand your mobile users needs. Give them direct access to what they want.
• It’s not about the device. It’s about screen resolution.
• Be thumb friendly.

Launching a Company with Content – @Mike_Stelzner
• How can we make epic content? Think about what your audience is most interested in. Publish content that is personally valuable to them and not seen as marketing.
• Have a plan to publish content regularly. People like patterns.
• How do you get content to go viral? My model is to give everything away.
